The Days of Our Lives: hectic

That is the name of the game these days. Things are moving along so fast... the kids are good... Anna is getting in four teeth right now. All four on top. All at the same time. Both kids have colds. Jack just had sneezing and sniffles, but Anna, she has a volcano in her nose that erupts at all hours of the day and night. She is so stuffed up that nursing is almost impossible and eating, which seems to be her favorite pastime, is difficult too. She can only breathe out of her mouth which if it is full of food, is not very easy. Hopefully this is on it's way out. She maintains her smiles even at 2:30 in the morning when she is screaming and stuffy and overtired and miserable--she'll still crack a smile (that is more than I can say for myself!!!!!)

Jack is still adjusting to preschool. It's a slow process, but we are so proud of him. Today when I dropped him off, his "job" was "Weather," which is so perfect for him because he is always announcing, "Mom is it sunny out today?" and then "Yah! It is!" or "It's raining it's pouring!" Also, we met a new friend at the library yesterday, Nicholas, while getting our books about dinosaurs and soccer. Jack and John have signed up for the Rec Department's "Little Nippers" Soccer Program every Friday. Can't wait to see that! So, it turns out that Nicholas loves pirates too and they appeared to be fast friends. They were running down the aisles and screaming in the library and throwing the pillows around having a grand time with the library all to themselves. The Moms thought we should take that little party somewhere else so we're going to see Nicholas' back yard and then Nicholas is going to come over and see the train in our backyard! I guess that train is good for something!
