Excellllllllleeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnt

Jack has been the very lucky recipient of many of John's "figurines" or "people" as Jack calls them. But actually, he calls them by their appropriate names. John has collected Star Wars figurines, Simpson's figurines and movie tie-in figures for a while. He has always dreamed of having his own space in his own house and displaying these figures for all to admire. But as many of us know, when you have a child, you would give them anything to keep them quiet. I mean, to make them happy. So Jack has inherited these people and has learned their names and they are all his new best friends. Screw Caillou, he has Bobafett! Goodbye elmo, where's Mr. Burns?

Anyway, he'll ask us "Who's this Mommy?" Or "Who's this Dad?" and sometimes he says, "Who can this be?" or "Who is this be?" and when you tell him he says, "Oh. Sure." Like he knew all along. So sometimes we'll also tell him what the figures say. If you ask Jack what Homer says, he'll say, "D'oh!" and Mr. Burns says, "Exceeeelllllllllleeeennnnnt," in a deep, husky voice even. It's a riot. But, I'm beginning to think we've taken things too far. His choice for a pre-nap read the other day:
