No shots today, but his iron was checked with a finger prick, which Jack did not care for at all. His iron is low, and I told the Doctor we don't eat read meat (okay, well Mom doesn't, Dad does and we usually give Jack bites of John's meat when we have it.) (And NO Grandpa, this is not an invitation for you to cook him up a big steak, though the good doc did say it would be a good idea to give him some red meat.) Jack also got another brand new book at this appointment. When the doctor walked in with it, Jack perked right up and began yelling, "Ba- Ba- Bababbababababa!" The doctor said, "So he likes books huh?" Yes, he does. Some of his favorites are:

So it looks like a little spinach mashed potatoes are on the menu for tonight. Want to come over Auntie? * the nurse said she should put an asterisk next to his stats because he was such a wiggle worm squirmer that she couldn't be sure of his exact stats!

Well, we'll save you some spinach mashed potatoes. They say they're better the second day anyway!
